THANE'S VIRTUAl PHOTO GALLERY
Some of my favorite photos

"Free Spirits at Noisy Water".  Bronze painted sculpture by Dave McGary.
Located at the Museum of the Horse, Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.
This photo is a composite of two pictures.  They were shot using an inexpensive,
fixed-focus 35mm camera, a few weeks after their July 15, 1995 dedication.

The stallion at the top of the sculpture.
I've been told this should be a postcard.

To the left is a prickly pear cactus - one of the biggest I have ever seen.
To the right is a close up shot of two prickly pears.  When ripe, they will turn a purplish color.
These pictures were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel G, using a 35-80 mm lens.

An interesting claim, especially since the picture is definitely
NOT a Saturn rocket!  This was printed on the box the keyboard came in.
